‘No Makeup’ Makeup
one of this spring/summer’s makeup trends is the Rosebud look or the bare face look.
Though some models dont really have to try because of, you know, genetics,
the rest of the world are left fend for themselves… *sigh*
So anyway! here’s my take on the ‘No Makeup’ makeup look!

1. Focus on the complexion!
- spend the majority of your time on correcting imperfections or scars or redness or anything that’s stopping you from NOT wearing a foundation. (in my case, all of the above)
-use a foundation and concealer that matches— to make easier to achieve an even skin.
- if you have to use a full coverage foundation, buff it into the skin to allow the product to sink into the skin and not just sit on the face (caked).

2. Eyes, Cheeks and Lips
- eyes: tightline. use a black-brown liner to do this, cuz black tend to be too harsh and ‘unnatural’, black-brown will still give you the definition without looking too stark.
- cheeks: look at your fingertips, unless youre super cold or lost all your blood, then you should see a hint on pink on them, find a blush thats the closest to this color, and apply it on the apples of the cheeks. This makes sure that we’re using the your own natural colors. choose a cream blush if you can for an extra dew.
- liquid higlighter with a pink hue if your fair skinned, gold undertone if you have a deeper skin tone
- i used a matte bronzer for a little bit of contouring, this kinda moves away from the ‘natural’ look, but sue me. ;) JK, using a matte bronzer will make it more real.
- lips: i popped on a little bit of rosebud salve and that’s it. wearing your own natural lip color will complete this look, so opt in for a clear balm or a rosie tint.
